Mika Awai

Mika is from Napa, California attending Drexel University for Architectural Engineering. Mika came to Drexel because of its strength in engineering, as well as its co-op program. Before coming to Drexel Mika spent her free time dancing. She danced for 11 years before coming to Drexel. As she will no longer be filling her free time with dance, she will now will now be focusing her attention on academics and pursuing a career in Architectural Engineering.

Luc Cassagnol
Jean-Luc is from Silver Spring, Maryland. He is in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Drexel University. Having a passion in computer and electronics, Luc hopes to get a co-op in the microprocessor manufacturing industry.

Anna Desch

Anna is from Wilmington, Delaware. She is studying Material Science and Engineering at Drexel University. Anna chose Drexel because of its strong engineering program as well as its integrated co-op program. Anna is a part of Society of Women Engineers and she is also doing research in the Sensor and Functional Materials group under Dr. Wei-Heng Shih.

Mark Petrovic
Mark is from Princeton, New Jersey. He is studying Material Science and Engineering. One of the main influences that led Mark to choose Drexel was his mother’s experience with the Department of Materials Science & Engineering while working on her Ph.D from 1995-1999. Mark currently works with the Biomaterials group under the guidance of Dr. Michele Marcolongo.

Kirstin Snodgrass

Kirstin is from Tabernacle, New Jersey and is currently a first year Materials Science and Engineering major at Drexel University. She plans to also obtain a minor in Marketing Management, and pursue a co-op at Lockheed Martin. Kirstin chose Drexel University because the amount of experience and knowledge from classes taken during five short years she will gain will be invaluable after she graduates.
